1. Information we collect
We may collect account details, profile information, interests, hobbies, availability, photographs, messages, group and activity content, support requests, subscription status, device information, usage data, and location information where you grant permission.
If you use Sign in with Apple or Google, we may receive your name, email address, provider user identifier and profile image, depending on your settings with that provider.
2. How we use information
- To create and manage accounts.
- To provide matching, discovery, chat, group and activity features.
- To personalise results based on interests, availability and search radius.
- To process subscriptions and confirm purchases.
- To operate, secure, analyse and improve Bamos.
- To provide support and communicate about accounts, safety and service changes.
- To prevent fraud, misuse, harassment and unlawful conduct.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect users and others.
3. Legal bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Sharing
We may share information with service providers supporting hosting, app development, authentication, communications, analytics, security and payments; with Apple, Google, Stripe or app stores involved in sign-in or purchases; with other users where you choose to share profile, activity, group or message content; and with authorities or advisers where required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell personal information for money.
5. Location
Location may be used to show people and activities within a selected radius. You can manage location permissions in your device settings. Disabling location may limit nearby discovery features.
6. Public and user-generated content
Profile and activity information may be visible to other users according to the design of the Services and your settings. Messages are visible to their recipients. Do not share sensitive information you do not want others to receive.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain safety, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and comply with law. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee complete security.
8. International transfers
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use recognised legal safeguards for international transfers.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, obtain a portable copy, or complain to a data-protection authority. To make a request, email bamosapp@yahoo.com. We may need to verify your identity.
10. Account deletion
You may request deletion through any in-app deletion option or by emailing bamosapp@yahoo.com. Some information may be retained where required for safety, fraud prevention, disputes or legal compliance.
11. Children
Bamos is intended only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy as the Services or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted with a new effective date.
